Pepsi Dig In, a platform dedicated to promoting and supporting Black-owned restaurants, has announced its partnership with TikTok-famous food reviewer Keith Lee for its Restaurant Royalty program. With the aim of recognizing and celebrating the best Black-owned restaurants in the country, the program encourages diners to nominate their favorite establishments and offers them a chance to win $10,000.

Pepsi Dig In and Keith Lee share a common goal of giving restaurants the recognition they deserve. Together, they are rallying consumers to nominate their preferred Black-owned restaurants for the Restaurant Royalty program, providing rewards not only for the diners but also for the nominated restaurants.

To participate, fans can submit their favorite local eatery on or by scanning the code displayed at participating Black-owned restaurants. By doing so, they enter to win exclusive rewards, including $1,000 gift cards for dining at their recommended restaurants, as well as other foodie experiences in New York City and Las Vegas, in collaboration with Pepsi Dig In and its partners.

Keith Lee, known for his honest food reviews on TikTok with twelve million followers, expresses his excitement about the partnership, emphasizing the impact it can have on local businesses. He aims to celebrate great food and boost Black-owned restaurants, and looks forward to discovering new spots to try based on the recommendations received.

The Restaurant Royalty program is an essential part of the larger Pepsi Dig In platform, designed to provide year-round support and visibility to Black-owned restaurants. By leveraging the power of social media and engaging foodies like Keith Lee, the program aims to generate excitement and support for Black-owned restaurants, utilizing Pepsi's network, partners, and scale to help these local businesses grow.

In addition to the grand prize of $10,000, the ten Restaurant Royals will receive additional amplification across Pepsi Dig In and EatOkra's social channels. They will also have the opportunity to participate in the Black Restaurants Deliver program, an eight-week initiative offering personalized consulting services to enhance online ordering capabilities and search presence. Furthermore, five Restaurant Royals will receive $10,000 in digital media buys for their businesses.

To facilitate the discovery of local Black-owned restaurants, Pepsi Dig In continues its partnership with EatOkra, the largest database of Black-owned restaurants. The ten Restaurant Royals will be announced later this summer via EatOkra, leading up to Pepsi Dig In Day—an annual celebration dedicated to showing love for favorite local Black-owned eateries.
